Our children have been on summer break for quite a while and we have not taken a trip this summer due to our much busier schedules this year. We realized summer will be ending soon so we asked the children where they wanted to go for their first adventure. They chose to go to Reno again… ever since we last went there with our friends and took the children there, they loved it so much we have been going there about once a year. It feels like it has become a tradition for us to go there as a family on short-trips. The children pretty much likes to go there for the arcade in Circus Circus and the movies, bowling, and go-kart racing at Grand Sierra Resort.

We were in Reno for two days and one night and visited the arcade several times. Each year we bring home a ton of candies because the children already has most of the small prizes they could redeem their tickets for, so they choose to get candies. Our family do not eat much sweets either so unless it is given away, it mostly is stored until it is tossed.

Grand Sierra is one of our usual stops after Circus Circus. We normally would go-kart, bowl and then catch a movie but this year the children wanted to skip out on the movies. They wanted to make time for shopping the beach.

We took the children to The Outlets at Sparks. It is an amazing place! For those who has small children, they have a water area for the children to cool off and get wet. It was a quick stop for us. We knew what we were looking for and had another stop before heading home so we left in a hurry.

We love the beach!!! Our plan was to go to Dillion beach but it was super crowded and there were no parking so we ended up going to Atagam beach. It was really nice and less crowded. There was also available parking on the streets so it worked out well. The children got to enjoy the water and the sand for a bit before heading back home.
